Sutton Foster, an actor, singer, and dancer, has appeared in eleven Broadway shows and the most recent revival of Violet. She also originated roles in Broadway with The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Women. Her Tony Award winning performances include Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Young Frankenstein. The first time she appeared on television on Star Search at age 15, and has more recently appeared as a character in Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU and Royal Pains. Sutton Foster has toured the United States and internationally in a duo with Michael Rafter. She performed songs from "Wish" which was her debut solo CD as well her second CD, "An evening With Sutton Foster Live at Caf Carlyle". Sutton Foster was awarded an honorary doctorate from Ball State University in 2011. Sutton Foster is on the faculty of Ball State University as a instructor and advisor for dance. From March to the present she has been a part of TVLand's debut series "Younger" created by Darren Star.
