Ally Sheedy Bio
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy has been an American actress since the year 1983. She made her debut in 1983 in Bad Boys. Later she was part of the Bratpack and was also a part of WarGames The Breakfast Club Short Circuit. The performance of Sheedy in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art won her the Independent Spirit Award Best Female Actress in a Leading Role. Sheedy was married to David Lansbury in April 1992. David Lansbury is the nephew and son-in law of Angela Lansbury. Edgar Lansbury produced Godspell. Beckett (born at the age of 14 in 1994) is the son of the couple. Sheedy said she has learnt a lot from Beckett. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy is an American author and actress. She was born on June 13, 1962. Her most famous roles are the lead actress in Brat Pack's movies The Breakfast Club, and St. Elmo's Fire. The Breakfast Club is the name given to the John Hughes film. The "Breakfast Club" title is an abbreviation used in some schools for the term detention. Presumably, students would be getting up early for breakfast time. Teaching The Next Generation. Sheedy is adding "teacher" on her extensive resume. She has taught acting at City College in New York City and has enjoyed having her students take her under her wing.
