Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother as was Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox attended Lennox's Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She studied the harpsichord and flautist piano over 3 years. She was able to survive on a student salary and part-time work to help supplement her income. Lennox decided to change her career path following her dissatisfaction with her inexperience and lack of talent contrast to others Royal Academy students. Lennox started her professional career in 1976 as a member of the band Dragons Playground. She left the band before the band went to I.T.V.s talent show New Faces. Her main role was as the singer of The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. That was also where she got to know Dave Stewart with whom she would form the pop duo Eurythmics. Then, Lennox started working on her solo first album Diva which was released in the year 1992. The album was hugely successful both commercially as well as critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs Six solo album was released in the month of October 2014. included Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four songs that were improvised by piano, which Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her first solo album, and is a sequel to the art installation she made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You Go...
